De-registered me with no warning

I received a letter from NHS England saying that I would be removed from the register as I no longer lived in the catchment area. Confused, I contacted others on my street, none of whom received a similar letter. I called them to enquire. The receptionist said the letter must have been sent in error as I was still registered on their system. This was about a year or so ago. Yesterday, I called to book a cervical screening and was told the nurse had de-registered me and that I would need to re-register. I explained the history but was told I still needed to re-register. I asked to speak with a manager. Was told she would ring me back the same day. Unfortunately, no call.
