at this practice quite self-centered & very spiteful (very unhelpful). I consider myself an articulate black man who can express his concerns clearly, thus leading to conflict with this institution probably founded on a right-wing belief system. It's no surprise, there aren't any doctors who are POC (people of color) at this clinic.
reception staff are welcoming and very helpful when I call the surgery. In the last 2 months I have had a blood test, smear test, mammogram and received regular medication. I find the eConsult a useful way to communicate and my eConsult requests are responded to swiftly. I recently had a face to face consultation with my GP, who took time to listen to my concerns and find solutions. I feel very lucky to be cared for so well by everyone at Ashville Surgery. Thank you all Natasha Clarke
on my body. I was asked to send photos but I still asked to have a follow up with an in person appointment. I received feedback from photos and was told that it was not a concern. When I went to my appointment the doctor seemed quite blunt , it was as if I was wasting his time (I rarely go to the doctors and the last time was 4 years ago). I have had cancer in my family and with all the adverts on TV, it recommends to see your doctor if you have any concerns. Seems Ashville does not want to see individuals and seems put out when they do show up.
