The Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) advice for Ramadan during Covid 19 lockdown

‘Ramadan 2020 will be a very different experience for Muslims all over the world during the COVID19 lockdown in accordance with public health advice’ said the Muslim Council of Britain. The organisation has prepared a document providing advice on a variety of topics in relation to Ramadan including tips on safe shopping, utilising online resources for lectures and Iftars, working from home and mental health. 

The Ramadan 2020 guidance has been translated into a number of languages including EnglishBasahaBanglaFrenchHausaHindi, TurkishYorubaSomali and Urdu

In 2020, Ramadan will be from 23/24 April to 23/24 May.
